Our 2009 Boys team capped the spring season off with a 5-2 win over West Essex to take the top spot a top their flight. Congratulations! The boys worked hard in practice and it paid off. Thanks also to the adults that shepherded the team – Philip Sheehy, Peter Molica, Charlie Hanger and Mike Henry, along with trainer John Webber.
Congratulations to our Boys 2008 Premier team for winning their flight in the NCSA’s spring season. The achievement was capped with a 4-0 win over the Americans SC in Allendale, NJ. The team finished with a 7-3 record.
Nine Columbia High School senior soccer players received scholarships from Cougar Soccer Club this weekend. Each recipient of the $500 award played at least three years with Cougar Soccer and has represented the club’s values on and off the field.
Congratulations to our Boys 2008-Black team who recently played in the EDP Fall Classic Tournament in South Jersey and won their flight (2008 Green) winning all 4 of their games.
The boys played against World Class FC, Patriot FC and West Windsor/Plainsboro to get to the Finals. They had a great win in the finals (3-2) over Downtown United from NYC.
Cougar Soccer Club held a successful event this past Saturday to accept donations of past seasonal uniforms, Tees, Cleats, etc.
