Six (6) scholarships of $500 are available to deserving candidates at Columbia High School. Deadline for consideration is Friday, December 31, 2021.

Cougar Soccer Club Announces New Training Partnership with Elite Soccer Academy

The Cougar Soccer Club has signed a new training partnership with Elite Soccer Academy (ESA) to provide professional soccer training and development for children in Maplewood and South Orange, NJ. The new agreement will begin in August 2021 and will deliver a dedicated training staff for the entire Cougar S.C. program from the youngest 3-year-old players up through the high school level teams.

Boys U12 Wins in Final Game

Our 2009 Boys team capped the spring season off with a 5-2 win over West Essex to take the top spot a top their flight. Congratulations! The boys worked hard in practice and it paid off. Thanks also to the adults that shepherded the team – Philip Sheehy, Peter Molica, Charlie Hanger and Mike Henry, along with trainer John Webber.

Boys U13 Premier Wins Flight

Congratulations to our Boys 2008 Premier team for winning their flight in the NCSA’s spring season. The achievement was capped with a 4-0 win over the Americans SC in Allendale, NJ. The team finished with a 7-3 record.

Return to Play

At Cougar Soccer Club, our number one priority is the physical and emotional well-being of our players on and off the field. We recognize how important it is to get our players back on the field where our coaches can resume their focus on building character and teaching life lessons through sport.

To that end, we have updated a Return to Play document that details the latest guidelines about minimizing risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
